The candidate will lead litigation operations, mentor associate attorneys, and manage a portfolio of accounts for designated states. The role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and proficiency in spreadsheets for data analysis.ResponsibilitiesManage the assigned portfolio of accounts to meet client goals while protecting the interests of both clients and the firmImplement, manage, and improve litigation processes in alignment with executive management goalsInterview, supervise, train, and assign duties to litigation staffLiaise with Litigation Operations and Audit departments to ensure compliance with client expectations, firm policies, and regulationsTrain associate attorneys and staff on operating procedures and processesEnforce production and performance expectations for all staff and attorneys at the siteReview and execute legal pleadings, motions, and related documentsSend and respond to correspondence from opposing counsel, pro‑se parties, corporate office, litigation members, and courtsAdvocate for client interests in motion‑practice hearings and trials, in person and telephonically when permittedDraft pleadings, motions, responses, discovery, etc.Ensure proper account and case documentation, including document retention via RMS notes, status case files, and electronic storage, in compliance with State Bar requirements, Court Rules, and firm standardsTravel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as requiredPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsAdmitted to practice law and in good standing in one of the following states: ND, SD, WY, MTAbility to waive into ND, SD, WY, or MTHigh‑volume civil litigation experienceDebt‑collections experience (strongly preferred)Previous management experience (strongly preferred)Strong organizational and time‑management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of professionalismStrong commitment to ethics and compliance standardsCollaborative team playerProficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to read and comprehend position‑specific documents and correspondence, which may be voluminousAbility to regularly interact and communicate in a common language with individuals or groups, verbally and/or in writingAbility to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent deviceAbility to complete a minimum of a 40‑hour flexible workweek schedulePhysical QualificationsBe able to lift five pounds or greaterBe able to sit 90% of the workday at timesBe able to bend at the waist and be mobile when neededBe able to concentrate and use critical thinkingThe base salary range for this position is \$130,000.00–\$160,000.00 per year, plus applicable bonus.Zwicker & Associates, P.C. is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to qualified individuals with disabilities.
