3rd Shift Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for third-shift work at an Ascension hospital location in Milwaukee. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and delivering customer service across rotating schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and processing
• Provide customer service and handle billing and administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Six months or more phlebotomy experience (alternative to certification)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation; clean driving record if applicable
