Onsite Logistics Specialist I - Construction

Onsite Logistics SpecialistThe Onsite Logistics Specialist within our field Logistics department, in El Paso, TX, will oversee all operations for assigned site or area and provides tooling and material support to field personnel. This role will be responsible for the coordination of deliveries, tooling and material inventories and vendor managed inventories. This position is highly collaborative and shares information internally to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, while delivering extraordinary service.Minimum RequirementsEducation: HS Diploma or GED. ASCM Warehouse, Forklift, Rigging, and Lull certification preferredExperience: 2-3 years of logistics experienceTravel: Up to 100% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms equipment operation duties and material handlingBe able to communicate effectively with internal customers (FTI Field Members and Supervisors)Communicate issues to OLL and crews efficientlyLeads a team of 1-2 members in an area of operationBe a direct point of contact to coordinate needs directly to certain electrical crews (Building POC)Direct Material Deliveries to proper location onsiteHelp manage stock levels onsite, and the inventory tracker for 2-3 crewsExecute and close out onsite requestsBe proficient in equipment operation and help manage the maintenance and tracking of equipment.Conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor stock, cleanliness, and crew needs.Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
