Job Details

This local CDL A Driver role is based in Houston, Texas, and pays $27.50 per hour. You will run local routes hauling general merchandise in a dry van with light-touch handling. This is a TransForce driving opportunity with steady work, reliable scheduling, and support from a driver-focused team.

This role requires a TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement. Drivers without a TWIC card must be willing to obtain one.

Pay & Schedule

$27.50 per hour
Local work based in Houston, Texas
Must be available for work 6 days per week
Monday through Friday plus either Saturday or Sunday

What You'll Be Doing

Operate CDL A equipment on local routes, including 12 to 13 hour trips.
Transport general merchandise in a dry van with light-touch handling.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logs, and required paperwork.
Follow DOT safety standards and communicate with dispatch and operations.

What You Need

Valid CDL A
1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
TWIC card or willingness to obtain one
Hazmat endorsement
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
