General Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)

This role is for a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) providing locum tenens support in a surgical and endoscopy setting. Key responsibilities Assisting with general surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy cases, and minor procedures, demonstrating competency in two-person colonoscopy techniques under supervision. Qualifications and skills Active licensure in Nevada, DEA registration, Nevada Controlled Substance Registration, and board certification. Certifications in BLS and ACLS through AHA are mandatory. Credentialing within 45 days is required. The position involves full-time hours from Monday to Friday, with duties in outpatient and procedural environments. EMR systems are not specified.
