Senior Controls Engineer

SUMMARYThis position is responsible for managing and overseeing engineering project scopes, budgets, and expectations and designing systems. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in hardware design and documentation, including power distribution and component sizing and motion control and panel QC is strongly preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical. procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadraticequations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.COMPUTER SKILLSMost required work is almost exclusively on the computer, but the computer is not itself the focus of the position. Has an advanced understanding and capabilities in using applicable programs and knowledge of networks. Must be a strong reference for other users for performing different functions with the computer. High proficiency level in Office 365, PLC, PC and HMI programming ability is required.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSA valid insurable Driver’s License is required.
