Print Project Manager

The Bernard Group is looking for a Print Project Manager to join our team. You will work closely with sales staff to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role focuses on retail merchandising and the concept-through-delivery processes for large and small format digital print and/or design, prototype and production of merchandising fixtures and/or environments, while building strong relationships with clients and their teams. Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Responsibilities Direct and manage projects from beginning to end, defining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timeline, milestones and project costs in collaboration with the AE, AM and/or Senior Project Manager (SPM). Gather costs for estimating based on client expectations and material/labor costs for in-house or outsourced production. Identify and manage dependencies, plan for workback schedules, delivery and installation wait times, and coordinate between outsourced and in-house resources. Notify department managers of resource needs and communicate deliverables and timelines per TBG processes. Contact and negotiate with contractors and freelancers, ensuring outside resources have current NDAs as required. Produce projects using TBG’s systems (Pace) and follow established processes with up-to-date job orders and complete file sets. Communicate data and support information by email and via project management tools to keep teammates informed in real time. Understand clients’ brand and design requirements, standards, quality expectations and tolerances; ensure project teams comply. Track milestones and deliverables with internal/external resources to keep projects on time and on budget, proactively managing scope changes. Collect and document all expenses and prepare invoice information for submission to Accounts Payable per established TBG processes. Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by Management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field or equivalent work experience More than 3 years of related project management experience Minimum of 2 years of related experience in print, large and small format print, digital print, merchandising fixture production and/or retail industry Experience working in a TPOP (temporary point of purchase) environment with corrugated displays Required Attributes Effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills Willingness to admit mistakes and learn Loyalty to customers and team Trustworthy, reliable, and easy to work with Enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges Adaptable and willing to wear multiple hats TBG Overview 1,000-person visual merchandising company 100% employee-owned Generous paid time off that increases with tenure Full-time position in Chanhassen, MN 55317 Compensation Compensation Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually *Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
