If you live for the highlight reel and know how to make content that stops the scroll, we want to talk.***WHAT YOU'LL DO**** Assist in creating attention-grabbing content across our social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X)* Write scripts for short-form video content that captures the HotTakes brand voice* Help plan and schedule social media content calendars around key sports moments* Appear on-camera for select content pieces (reaction videos, predictions, trend participation)* Support the content team with research on sports trends, cultural moments, and platform algorithm shifts* Learn hands-on content production skills including video editing, graphic design basics, and copywriting* Contribute ideas for new content formats that resonate with GenZ sports fans* Assist with community management and engagement across our social platforms***WHAT YOU BRING**** Passion for sports and deep knowledge of sports culture (NFL, NBA, MLB, college sports)* Experience creating content for personal or school platforms – TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.* Basic understanding of content creation tools (smartphone camera, simple editing apps)* Strong written and verbal communication skills that connect with GenZ audiences* Comfort being on-camera and representing the brand when needed* Understanding of social media trends and what makes content shareable* Sports knowledge that goes beyond the box score – storylines, personalities, memes* Eagerness to learn and ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly* Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects***WHY THIS ROLE ROCKS**** Hands-on experience creating real content for a fast-growing sports gaming startup* Direct mentorship from experienced content creators and marketers* Build your portfolio with professional work that showcases your skills* Flexible remote schedule that works around your other commitments* Opportunity to see your content ideas go live and measure their performance* Learn the complete content creation process from ideation to production to distribution* Potential for growth into paid contract or full-time roles based on performance* Connect with sports industry professionals and expand your network* Competitive stipend and performance-based incentivesHotTakes is committed to building a diverse team.
