CNC Machine Operator II – 2nd ShiftLocation: Virginia Beach, VA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM Training: 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) for approximately 90 days Pay: $22.00–$25.00/hr + 7.5% Shift Differential Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm | OnsitePosition OverviewSeeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC grinding and machining equipment while producing precision components to tight tolerances.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC grinding and machining equipmentInspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicatorsMake minor program adjustments and machine offsetsSet up and use gauge heads and inspection equipmentDress grinding wheels and replace diamondsDeburr finished parts and prepare for next operationsPerform routine machine maintenanceRead and follow work instructions and process sheetsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED5+ years of CNC machining experienceCNC setup experience and ability to make minor program adjustmentsExperience with precision measuring tools and hand toolsBasic Microsoft Word and Excel skillsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailExperience with tight-tolerance machining preferredPPE & AttireSteel-toed shoes required (employee provided)Safety glasses and hearing protection providedJeans/work pants and T-shirt or hoodie requiredNo shorts or leggingsApply today to join a growing manufacturing team in Virginia Beach!
