With a large amount of growth over the past 5 years, this exciting team is currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager with commercial construction experience to help with projects in the Raleigh market. If you are a Superindent and interested in this role, please apply or reach out to Ryan Blake.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Projects-Raleigh will be responsible for:Meeting weekly and communicating daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries.Managing the site through completion.Proactively identifying design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues.Attaining a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications.Enforcing safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards.Maintaining appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.Communicating daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Projects-Raleigh will have:2+ years of construction Assistant Project Manager experience with a general contractor is requiredExperience on ground-up commercial construction projects is requiredBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferredApplicable Project Management Software experience preferredDeveloped thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project successMaintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractorsMust be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any levelLocal to Raleigh and relocators will be consideredWhat's on OfferThe Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Projects-Raleigh will receive:Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $80,000-$110,000Annual BonusesCompany Vehicle with gas cardPer diem allowance when traveling plus lodging near project siteExcellent benefits, 401K, etc.
