We are now seeking a Senior Estimator to support our Sarasota office.

This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing labor, materials, project timelines, and supporting management in the bidding process. The ideal candidate will have strong HVAC estimating experience, the ability to read blueprints and technical documents, and the confidence to collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, engineers, architects, and contractors.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare HVAC cost estimates for residential and light commercial construction projects
• Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and technical documents
• Identify cost factors, including labor, materials, timelines, and project scope
• Work with project managers, sales teams, vendors, contractors, engineers, and clients
• Prepare bids, estimates, cost documentation, and project-related reports
• Track estimated costs compared to actual project costs
• Support customer/project meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation
• Mentor and support less experienced estimating team members
• Help identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of construction estimating/design experience, preferably in residential HVAC and light commercial
• Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, labor, materials, and project costs
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Wrightsoft experience preferred
• AutoCAD LT, FastDuct, and Energy Gauge experience a plus
• NATE and EPA 608 certifications preferred
