Job Description Job Description We are seeking a maintenance employe to handle check ins on short term rentals. you must have your own truck and you will be supplied with a 5x8 box trailer fully stocked with every tool you could posibly need. It is a simple part time position which would involve driving to 1-3 houses a day 2-5 days a week and making sure everything is prepared before guests arrive. the schedule is a bit unpredictable but for the most part you will be sent a schedule in the beginning of the week. each stop will fluctuate in time required, it could be 30 minutes - 2 hours depending on what is needed. The work is very simple as long as you can work outside. everything will be trained so if you're not sure about something it can be taught. The pay would range from 18-20 an hour depending on experience and how well you are able to handle the tasks at hand. There will also be an additional 75 cents per mile driven for vehicle compensation. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance for the inside and outside of the home. Conduct small repairs if needed from previous guests. If larger repairs are needed make a report to office so other maintenance guys can be scheduled. Make sure pool & spa is clean/ operational. Keep landscape clean and trimmed. (should be slowly kept up on during each visit) Blow out front and back yard on each visit. Make sure pool decking is washed and clean. Make sure outdoor grill is cleaned and propane is filled. Remove trash from the property. Communicate with cleaners to make sure they do not have any issues or need help. Make sure your trailer is organized and stocked. Keep office informed of anything that needs to be restocked.
