Manager, Operations

The Manager of Operations is a key player in our collaborative approach, responsible for the operational support, professional business guidance, and business coaching of franchise owners in conjunction with the Director/Sr. Director Operations. The Manager of Operations works closely with the Director/Sr. Director of Ops, franchise owners, the Denver Support Center, and peers to drive operational excellence, financial improvement, and sustainable business performance for franchise owners. Position Responsibilities Specifically, these responsibilities will include: Ongoing communications with the studio owners to discuss brand priorities, operational focus areas, studio-specific plans, opportunities, goals, and progress toward the goals, including coaching and follow-up on agreed action plans. Franchise Operations communications range from quick weekly update videos to monthly calls, weekly open office hours, and regional meetings held a few times a year. Participate in regular conference calls, meetings, and other forums to effectively and efficiently report on business activities and results. Leading regional meetings a few times a year to discuss business priorities and train franchise owners and managers on new tools, systems, and best practices to support their success. Manage a small portfolio of franchise owners and managers (i.e., 5-15 owners depending on position), providing coaching and business guidance in alignment with Operations Coaches. Meet regularly with franchise owners to review business, financial, operational, and consumer feedback metrics; identify opportunities and root causes; and build actionable improvement plans that support revenue growth, profitability, member/guest experience, and operational effectiveness. Conduct ongoing and regular business reviews with franchise owners and managers, establish clear priorities and measurable goals, and follow up on action plans to drive accountability, execution, and results. Analyze key business and operational metrics, translate data and trends into actionable recommendations, and coach franchise owners on opportunities to improve financial and operational performance. Partner with the Directors, Operations (Coaches), and Sr. Director Operations to align coaching priorities, owner messaging, and support plans, escalating material risks or opportunities as appropriate. Conduct periodic studio visits and bootcamps to assess operational execution, engage with studio teams, reinforce brand standards, and provide hands‑on coaching and guidance. Lead a minimum of 3 times a month in-person sales training/ customer service training in a location with franchisees. Collaborating with the Support Center to represent Studio Owners to build programs that can be implemented successfully by the studio teams to ensure success. Assisting in developing, managing, and implementing new programs with the Support Center team. Addressing ongoing questions or business needs for the Owners. Managing a personal work schedule that focuses on the highest priorities and ensures high visibility and interaction with Franchise Owners while achieving positive and timely business results across the Region. Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads. Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred At least three years of successfully supporting franchisees, working in a franchised business, or in a field operations position. Multi-unit management experience and support preferred. Experience with Amazing Lash Studio, Elements Massage, and the health and wellness industries a plus. CORE COMPETENCIES Demonstrated superior leadership skills with a proven track record of coaching, collaboration, and mentoring. Personable and able to communicate with all studio team members, from owners and managers to massage therapists and front desk associates. Experience supporting franchisees with a genuine passion for business coaching, developing actionable plans, driving accountability, and coaching for results. Excellent planning and time management skills; strong organizational skills; and the ability to prioritize needs and shift focus to meet the changing demands of the role. Solid business acumen with excellent analytical and financial skills. Ability to analyze business and operational metrics, identify performance opportunities, translate insights into actionable plans, and coach franchise owners toward improved results. Solid written and strong verbal communication skills, including delivery of group presentations; effective communicator who can enhance performance through open dialogue. Strong influencing skills with the ability to motivate Franchise Owners into action. Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with franchise owners, hold owners accountable to defined goals and commitments, identify opportunities for improvement, develop action plans and maintain consistent follow‑through on business improvement plans. Ability to positively influence and lead the implementation of key initiatives under tight deadlines. High attention to detail; ability to improve operational effectiveness. Ability to assess the effectiveness of operations, programs, and staffing while respecting core enterprise values. Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment. Remain confident and calm under stress, tight timelines, and pressure to get results. Computer proficiency - Microsoft Office, email, and internet. Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and ensure high visibility and accessibility to franchise locations as needed.
