Manage preconstruction estimating activities for upcoming project bids.Company Description:A national general contractor with a local Nashville office, offering construction services in diverse sectors such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, design-build, multi-family, and more.Overview:Lead the preparation of construction project estimatesAnalyze constructability and design issuesCreate bid packages for complex scopesDevelop value engineering alternativesPrepare detailed estimates for trades and overall project costsAnalyze contract documents for additional scope requirementsEvaluate subcontractor proposals and manage scope gapsImprove estimating processes for cost efficienciesNecessary Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field• 9-10+ years of estimating and commercial construction experience• Proficiency in software such as OST, Bluebeam, bid management platforms, and scheduling tools like P6• Ability to implement new technologies for project benefits
