Position Details Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Location: Brentwood, CA Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Full-time schedule, based on clinic and patient needs Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications About the Role The SLPA will provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This position requires strong communication, organization, documentation, and time management skills. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-centered, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Include Implement direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Provide services to pediatric patients in clinic, school, home, and/or community-based settings. Complete daily documentation, including SOAP notes, treatment updates, and related records. Support progress report preparation and treatment planning as directed by the supervising SLP. Communicate professionally with patients, families, clinical team members, and supervisors. Manage time effectively between direct treatment, documentation, scheduling, and related responsibilities. Maintain organized and accurate patient documentation in accordance with company policy. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and supervision meetings as required. Participate in team collaboration and contribute to a supportive clinical environment. Follow company policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable clinical standards. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Current California SLPA license required. Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field. New graduates are welcome to apply. Experience in pediatric, school-based, clinic-based, or home-based services preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build positive rapport with patients, families, and team members. Strong organization, time management, and follow-through. Positive, collaborative, and professional demeanor.
