What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and evaluate cancer patients by reviewing medical history and diagnostic tests to develop personalized radiation treatment plans.
• Administer advanced radiation therapies such as stereotactic radiosurgery, ensuring precision and safety.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Manage side effects and provide compassionate patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver comprehensive cancer treatment.
• Engage in research efforts aimed at improving radiation oncology practices.

Required Skills:

• Valid New York State Medical License
• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
• Minimum of 2 years recent relevant experience
• Current CPR (AHA BLS) and ACLS certification
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records and automated medication systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery and advanced radiation techniques
• Prior experience in a clinic setting with adult patients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality radiation oncology care in a clinical setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability for short-term coverage from November 10th to 12th, 2026 (preference for Nov 10-12, but flexible)
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM; call not required
• Maintain professional attire (business casual), adhere to dress code, and uphold strict safety and hygiene standards
• Leave cell phones in lockers during shifts; call-in policy requires a 2-hour notice
• Must be in good standing with no significant employment gaps or malpractice issues; provide updated work history and relevant documentation
