Infusion Pharmacist

Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $65.75/hr (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (35 hrs/week)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a licensed Infusion Pharmacist to support medication management and pharmacy operations for patients receiving home and long-term care services. This position is responsible for safely dispensing medications, evaluating drug therapies, providing medication consultation, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
• Monitor medication compliance, utilization, and potential overuse patterns
• Ensure prescriptions are appropriate and compliant with applicable laws/regulations
• Evaluate and monitor drug therapies for home care patients
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Counsel patients on dosage, administration, storage, side effects, and interactions
• Answer questions on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Compound and prepare infusion/sterile medications following established procedures
• Identify drug-therapy issues and communicate recommendations to physicians and care teams
• Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare staff
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians/clerks/interns) as needed
• Maintain appropriate medication and supply inventory
• Educate patients on use of devices (e.g., BP monitors, glucose meters)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required (PharmD preferred)
• Active Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in the state of practice
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compounding infused drugs
• Home infusion / LTC / specialty pharmacy experience
• Participation in professional pharmacy organizations
