Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LDRP) travel assignment in Roswell, New Mexico. Start date 09/28/2026 for a weeks-long contract. Weekly pay range: $2,672–$2,830 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights, 4x12. Unit type: LDRP within a hospital setting (11 beds), caring for laboring patients and mother–baby couples, with most newborns room-in.

Responsibilities
- Deliver care to laboring patients, including vaginal and Cesarean support; triage obstetric presentations
- Provide mother–baby/couplet care, newborn assessments, and support rooming-in when applicable
- Recover post-operative cesarean patients; monitor phototherapy, thermoregulation, and infant safety
- Support breastfeeding and lactation; assist with infant feeding plans
- Conduct infant identification, infant procedures as needed, and assist with circumcision and post-op assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy) and document in Epic
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios (3:1 per unit policy) and float to similar units as needed

Requirements
- Licenses: NM/Compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start
- Certifications: BLS and NRP required; STABLE also listed
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Labor & Delivery; preferred: charge experience and community hospital background

- Orientation: On-site orientation; RN modules ~4–6 hours; Allied ~2–3 hours
- Additional: Ability to work in a LDRP setting with neonates and couplet care; Epic charting required

- Travel specifics: Locals not accepted (50-mile radius)
- Scheduling notes: Night shifts; schedule options of 36 or 48 hours per week; travel float to like units as needed
