The Position WeVett Home Loans is looking to add a loan officer assistant (LOA) to our team. Have a knack for numbers and superior people skills? You’re the type of person we’re looking for. What You Will Be Doing Providing elite service to internal and external clients Following up with new leads to ensure they are engaged in the loan process Learning investor guidelines, lending policies, and the required documentation, policy and procedures of the business Applying knowledge and judgment to proactively anticipate needs for new leads Developing strong computer skills, including the extensive use of web-based applications Managing multiple priorities while building rapport with clients Coordinating application and finance quote updates with new clients What We Need From You Must Have Qualifications: No fear of making phone calls The desire to serve military members Associates Degree or higher Minimum 12 months experience in Mortgage or Client Service Industry Work experience with using complex logic and problem solving skills Above average ability to work with numbers and basic finance calculations Advanced computer experience – ability to multitask on dual monitors Willingness to learn and be coached Adaptable to a flexible, fast-changing industry Self-motivated with strong work ethic Ability to take accountability for actions Nice to Have Qualifications: Military experience (or knowing someone close who served) Bachelor’s degree with 3.0+ GPA Handling escalated client service situations over the phone The Place and The People THE PLACE & THE PERKS Ready to join a talented team who is making the dream of home ownership possible for more of our military members?
