Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare, position, and explain CT procedures to patients; monitor for adverse reactions and respond per protocol.
- Administer contrast media when indicated, monitor for reactions, manage IV access, and document observations in the EMR.
- Operate CT equipment, select appropriate protocols, adjust parameters for optimal image quality, perform reconstructions, and participate in quality control.
- Verify patient identity and exam data, document procedures in Epic EMR, and communicate findings and any deviations to the radiology team.
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists, support rotating coverage for vacations/call outs, and respond to on-call needs as assigned.
- Travel requires flexibility with days/evenings/weekends and potential floating as workload dictates.

Requirements
- Active ARRT CT Certification and ARRT X-ray Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT/X-ray experience
- Teaching facility experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Reliable transportation; public transit not available in this area
- Ability to work in a teaching facility environment
