Professional Handyman

The pay range for this position is $30 to $36 and is dependent on your experience as a professional carpenter and you must live in Broward County. This is a Commission Based role and we are seeking professionals with the mindset to upsell additional services to support our client needs. Repeat business and referrals are a cornerstone of our client relationships and our Service Professionals are those front line ambassadors. As an experienced carpenter, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following: Carpentry work including doors and window installations Bathroom / Kitchen improvements Project Leadership, "can you run a team on a project?" Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs. You’ll need to speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments. Have a business mindset, we are a licensed GC, lets do the big jobs You’ll need to have the necessary tools, including the ability to use technology. You'll need to document the job while following our process, the Mr. Handyman Way. You’ll need to wear proper PPE as well as booties to protect our customer’s home. Job Requirements These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position. Live within the area, Broward County is required. Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid carpenter Own your own tools Be insurable for driving our vehicle (no license suspensions past 3 years) Complete a background and driving record check Able to lift 50 pounds independently Able to safely work at heights and work overheard for extended periods of time Professional appearance and maintenance of company‑provided vehicle Benefits & Pay The pay range for this position is $28 to $35 and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman, your ability to hit revenue and review targets, as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and drywall. 5 Paid company holidays annually 5% matching on 401K 1 Paid Sick day Quarterly 1 week, paid vacation after 1 year Still with us?
