Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift with Rotating Evening Possibility | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Manage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of diagnoses spanning all body systems, including complex and high-acuity cases
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with the possibility of up to 1:5 for lower-acuity patients
• Work rotating night and evening shifts as scheduled, including required holidays as they fall
• Float to sister Emergency Department facilities within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required (must be completed through an acceptable vendor; can be completed during onboarding)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, complex Emergency Department environment
• Comfort with floating within scope to other Emergency Department locations without restrictions
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
