The Handyman is an independent contractor responsible for a range of renovation, remodeling, routine maintenance, and emergency repair projects. This role primarily involves on-site work and requires a versatile skill set to manage general repairs and upkeep effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Complete painting jobs for various surfaces
- Handle plumbing repairs including leaks and fixture replacements
- Conduct electrical repairs safely and efficiently
- Execute carpentry work including installations and repairs
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests
- Support renovation and remodeling efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in general maintenance
- Basic carpentry skills
- Knowledge of plumbing repairs
- Familiarity with electrical repairs
- Painting skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management
