Director of Engineering

Hard problems in Swift don't intimidate you; they're the reason you open your laptop, which makes you our kind of Director of Engineering. Net it out: remote, $204,000 - $322,000, 10 years, ownership of the technology outcome, and an Intel team that has your back.

Key Responsibilities

• Stress-test Active Listening systems until they bend, then harden where they cracked
• Refactor the technology module Intel has been afraid to touch
• Sit with technology users in Rancho Cucamonga to learn what the Webpack tool really needs
• Land MongoDB performance wins Intel can measure in CA retention numbers
• Mentor the director cohort through their first real Active Listening on-call at Intel
• Keep the Facilitation build pipeline green so Rancho Cucamonga deploys never wait on a red light
• Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with MongoDB
• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Webpack and Scrum

What You'll Bring

• Adaptability and resilience when facing shifting requirements
• Hands-on experience with modern MongoDB workflows and tooling
• Meticulous attention to detail across every deliverable
• A collaborator's reflex to share credit and absorb blame
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team

Intel exists for one stubborn reason: the technology tools everyone settled for were never good enough, so we rebuilt them from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. At Intel you're trusted with the why, not just handed the what.
