Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy 2D games using the Defold engine, focusing on optimal performance and minimal build sizes. Implement robust gameplay mechanics and systems utilizing Lua scripting in a modular architecture. Collaborate closely with designers and artists to iterate rapidly on game prototypes and refine user experience. Optimize games for smooth performance across a variety of mobile and web platforms. Maintain efficient, well-documented code and adhere to best practices in game development. Debug, profile, and resolve performance issues to ensure stable game releases. Qualifications Have proven experience developing and shipping 2D games using the Defold engine. Demonstrate proficiency in Lua scripting and understanding of component-based game architectures. Have a strong track record in producing lightweight, performance-optimized builds for mobile and web. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
