Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As an Armed Security Officer, you will:

• Provide immediate response to emergencies, security incidents, and public safety concerns

• Conduct mobile patrols to deter, detect, and report suspicious activity

• Protect personnel, facilities, equipment, and government assets

• Enforce federal laws, assimilated state laws, and site-specific regulations Monitor security conditions and maintain a strong security presence

• Respond professionally to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations

• Prepare accurate reports and document incidents and daily activities

• Maintain vigilance, situational awareness, and operational readiness at all times

• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with security requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Two years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard), or

• Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), or

• Associate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, or successful completion of a police officers basic training academy.

• Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license.

• Ability to successfully meet all Physical Agility Test (PAT) standards as required by the customer

• Completion and passing of the MMPI psychological assessment

• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
