Buyer/Planner

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Ventura, CA. This role is ideal for a purchasing and production planning professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to support inventory flow, production readiness, and on-time delivery. The Buyer/Planner will work closely with Sales, Accounting, and production-related teams to plan distributed products, manage ERP data, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and help ensure customer delivery goals are met. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative operations team where communication, accountability, and cross-functional teamwork are key to success. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule distributed products using ERP software to support production and delivery requirements. Review daily sales activity, distribution needs, and demand changes to maintain accurate planning priorities. Enter, update, and maintain ERP planning data, including inventory and production-related information. Manage inventory levels for key production components to help prevent shortages and excess stock. Create and release work orders in alignment with production schedules and customer delivery expectations. Partner with Sales and Accounting to resolve delivery, inventory, and cost-related issues. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $28 to $33 per hour, depending on experience. Job type: Temp-to-hire. Location: Ventura, CA 93003.
