About the Position

Job Title: Transplant Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of strong transplant experience, including kidney and liver experience. License: Must have an active nursing license in the applicable state. Temporary licenses are acceptable if obtained before the start date. Certifications: BLS, Regulatory Charting for Transplants. Must-Have: Experience with abdominal transplants, including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral transplants. Description: Position available for a Transplant Operating Room Nurse. Candidate must possess at least 2 years of relevant experience. Shift schedule is 3x12 with hours from 07:00 to 19:30. Weekends are preferred, and the candidate should be open to floating to multi-specialty surgeries. There is a call requirement of 40-60 hours per 6-week period. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Experience in transplant procedures is essential, with verification required before consideration. Pediatric transplant experience is preferred but not mandatory. This role involves responsibility for patients undergoing transplant surgeries. Candidates will need to provide two supervisor references upon request. All applicants must be compliant with floating requirements, which will occur within the facility or to affiliated locations. The successful candidate must show proof of transplant experience within the last 2 years.
