STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Pay Range: $61,713.60 – $86,403.20 Location: Greenwood, SC; remote work is not available for this position. Responsibilities Under limited supervision, performs accounting and financial reporting work of a technically challenging and difficult nature. Ensures all work is completed in timely manner and all deadlines are met. Experience in budgets, fixed assets, accounts payable, account reconciliations, bank file transfers, ACH, wire transfers, and internal audits is preferred. The Staff Accountant must exercise independent judgment and initiative, and attention to detail in ensuring proper and timely financial record keeping. Reports to the Accounting Supervisor. Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant field supplemented by three years of accounting experience, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
