Job Description

Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate patients, implement treatment regimens under the supervision of the Dentist, and ensure complete documentation of all findings, treatments, and outcomes.
Performance Expectations:
Assessments & Screenings:
Conduct patient screenings, including medical history review, dental charting
Take patient vital signs as required.
Assess dental conditions and risk to formulate effective care plans.
Direct Patient Care:
Deliver direct patient care, including cleaning, polishing, X-rays, sealant applications, fluoride varnishes, and other procedures as prescribed.
Implement individualized dental care plans based on patient needs.
Provide patient education, risk protocols, discharge planning, and family teaching under the supervision of the dentist.
Documentation & Reporting:
Document the dental history, chief complaint, and relevant observations of patients.
Report pertinent findings to dental staff and ensure proper follow-up on lab procedures.
Ensure all treatment activities and outcomes are accurately documented in patient records.
Quality Improvement:
Participate in Quality Improvement activities as requested by the Dentist or Clinical Director.
Oral Health Education & Prevention:
Initiate oral health education and prevention activities to promote long-term patient care.
Qualifications:
Education & License:
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Work Style:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain high standards of performance and personal excellence.
Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Monday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Tuesday & Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
