Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,080–$2,174 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 26 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour rotating (7a–7p / 7p–7a) Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ICU Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill adults and geriatric patients in the ICU, including ongoing assessment and individualized care plans Monitor hemodynamics, interpret vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Manage airway and ventilator support as trained, administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders and protocols, and document outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record Perform and assist with ICU procedures within scope of practice; coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to hospital policies; communicate clearly with families and team members to support the Healing Environment Requirements Active NYS RN licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation NIHSS certification required Basic Coronary Care knowledge within 6 months of hire CPI certification within 90 days of hire Preferred: ENA certification within 2 years of hire; TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion; strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in an ICU setting with adult and geriatric patients Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Extension opportunities as assignments permit Access to credentialing coordination and orientation resources Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
