JACKSONVILLE - Attorney II - Labor and Employment City of Jacksonville

This is a Labor and Employment Attorney position that reports to a senior attorney. The primary purpose of this position is to provide labor and employment related legal services that are of varying mixture and complexity to the City and other assigned clients. Work is performed under the direction of a managing or senior attorney and is reviewed through conferences, inspection of work product and evaluation of results obtained. Open requirements include: Graduation from an accredited law school. Possession of a Florida license to practice law. Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the practice of law with a minimum of one year of experience in labor and employment law. Professional legal experience in government is preferred. Admissions and memberships in other organizations or to practice before courts may be required depending upon the respective practice group.
