Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist in Bolingbrook, IL

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a full-time staff pharmacist specializing in long-term care (LTC) and retail pharmacy. The role is based in Bolingbrook, IL, supporting a mail order LTC environment with a focus on accurate medication processing and final review to ensure patient safety.

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Schedule:

Monday through Friday
Dayshift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract to Hire, through October 2026

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct final medication reviews prior to shipment, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations in a mail order LTC setting
Utilize pharmacy systems to verify and process prescriptions efficiently
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed pharmacist in the state of Illinois
Experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy settings required
Familiarity with pharmacy software Frameworks is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to patient safety and regulatory adherence
