Registered Nurse

Responsibilities Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Position. This Day shift role involves prescribing, coordinating, and delegating nursing care utilizing the nursing process integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit. Key Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care on the designated unit in a manner consistent with the organization's philosophy and the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care. Create a safe environment for clients, provide direct supervision, empower clients, and teach coping tools. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred. Licensure and registration by the Tennessee Board of Nurse Examiners or Compact as a registered nurse.
