We operate three manufacturing facilities in Salem and Sebring, Ohio, and a distribution center in Alliance, Ohiohome to over 100 dedicated team members. Right now, were looking to bring an EH&S Coordinator on board due to tremendous growth opportunitiessomeone who is passionate about safety, proactive in solving problems, while being eager to be part of a collaborative and growing team.

Types of Things Youll Be Doing

As an EH&S Coordinator, youll be a go-to person for environmental health and safety related questions and help create a positive, compliant, and safety-first work environment. Youll build relationships with employees across all facilities and work with department leaders to ensure consistency in applying safety policies, supporting employee relations, and promoting a safe and respectful workplace.

Some of the work youll be doing includes:

Be driving force the behind safetydesign and lead programs that keep our people

protected and our operations are running strong.

Get out on the floor and make an impact daily by spotting hazards, solving problems, and

helping teams create safer ways to work.

Bring safety to life through engaging training, toolbox talks, and creative communication

that people actually enjoy and remember.

Own the big picture and the detailsfrom OSHA compliance and reporting to making sure

nothing slips through the cracks.

Lead incident investigations that matterdig into root causes, fix issues at the source, and

help prevent them from happening again.

Turn data into action by tracking safety trends, identifying opportunities, and driving

continuous improvement across the organization.

Partner across teams and beyondwork with leadership, employees, and external groups

like BWC to keep safety programs strong and evolving.

Types of Things You Wont Be Doing

You wont be stuck behind a desk all day or buried in corporate red tape. In fact, we prefer that you are at our various locations, on the floor, interacting with your colleagues and constantly looking for ways to improve our safety programs while identifying potential hazards.

You also wont be asked to do it all aloneour HR & Safety Manager along with our HR Generalist will be your teammates and support system. Bonus: no filing cabinets full of chaoswe actually care about organized records!

What Wed Like from You

Ideally, you have a bachelors degree in occupational health & services or equivalent. You have at least two years of experience in the field with, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and you understand the importance of confidentiality, communication, and keeping things organized. Youre comfortable with Microsoft Office, learning new systems, and asking questions.
