Director of Rehabilitation

We are seeking to fill the position of Director of Rehabilitation.

• Full-Time; Monday - Friday schedule.

Director of Rehabilitation Qualifications:

• A valid, unrestricted Physical or Occupational Therapy or other Therapy license.
• Valid PA driver’s license.
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary:

• Orientation, training, supervision and review of rehabilitation personnel.
• Establish schedules and routines with the Rehab staff and other departments.
• Utilize computer software to track and trend therapy programs for reimbursement.
• Facilitate the integration of rehabilitation services.
• Perform direct patient care as necessary.
• Chart Audits (active and discharged rehabilitation patients).
• Identify, collect and evaluate Rehab programs.
• Prepare annual budget and recommend departmental purchases.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance system.
• Assist facility with marketing plans.
• Participate in in-service education programs for Rehab staff and other departments.
