Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System.

Additional Details:

Must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally be very flexible.

Must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Neuro thrombectomy experience required. - Coil embolization / Rotablator required. - Ablations / Peripherals / Venous access required. - Required equipment experience: Philips single plane/bi plane, Inari, Penumbra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US, CSI, Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston, Phillips), Carto, Abbott, and X-Per.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, neuro intervention, pacemakers, EKG, and IR experience preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Unit cases include invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, IR, and neuro intervention. - Daily caseload: 12-20.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends required. - Call required: every 4th day, 1 weekend per month. - Holiday requirement: 2 major and 1 minor.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification (R)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography)
