This position will either be housed at Red Mountain High School (7301 E Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ 85207). This position will work Monday to Friday mornings (4 hours/day). Position Summary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor prepares students to provide basic nursing care to patients in hospitals, long‑term care facilities, and other healthcare settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Instruction includes infection control, communication, safety and emergency procedures, personal care, and fundamental nursing skills. The instructor provides classroom, lab, and clinical instruction and supervises students during clinical experiences as needed. Job Type Part Time, 10 Month Calendar Salary $27,358.64 - $42,000.00. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification. Minimum Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) License: active and in good standing. At least one year (1500 hours) of full time employment providing direct care as an RN in any setting. Meet one of the following qualifications: Successful completion of a three-semester credit course on adult teaching and learning concepts offered by an accredited post-secondary educational institution. Completion of a 40‑hour continuing education program in adult teaching and learning concepts awarded continuing education credit by an accredited organization. One year of full‑time or 1500 hours of experience teaching adults as a faculty member or clinical educator. One year of full‑time or 1500 hours of experience supervising nursing assistants, either in addition to or concurrent with the one year of experience required. Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required by first day of employment). Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
