Store Manager In Training (SMIT) Role: This development-focused program is designed to prepare candidates for a future CVS Store Manager position through a 16‑week, self‑paced, collaborative training program. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead your team. Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program. Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of “helping people on their path to better health.” Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market you work in. Accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market, if applicable. Transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Preferred: Bachelor's degree, retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Ability to work a full‑time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role and to work at any location within the designated market. Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $18.50 to $28.67 per hour.
