As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for: Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Documents observations on assigned patients. Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition. Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned. *CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Experience Requirements Behavioral Health experience Education And Credential Requirements High School Diploma Basic Life Support (BLS) Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) Positions designated as requiring a level II Background ( A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
