As a key member of our team, you’ll join our collaborative process providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about Civil Works projects as well as traditional site civil design, with a keen interest in developing solutions that address our country’s water, resiliency, and disaster recovery challenges through measures such as floodwalls, tidal gates, dams, pump stations, and other waterfront infrastructure. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a team environment and coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians in and out of your discipline group, as well as with clients and end users in Federal Civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) government agencies. Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or ArchitectureAt least 7 years of related Civil Works experienceCivil - Hydraulics & Hydrology (H&H) studies, interior drainage modeling, site layouts and infrastructure designStructural – floodwalls, piers, wharves, quays, tidal gatesMechanical – pumps and pump stationsElectrical – pumps and pump stationsProfessional Licensure, PE or Registered Architect (RA) for engineering and architectural disciplines, respectivelyWorking knowledge of UFC design codesUS CitizenshipIdeally, You’ll Also Have:Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification will be considered for Project Management positionDemonstrated design and project management experience within Federal and/or DOD marketsExperience using one or more of the following design codes: AISC, ACI, AASHTO, ASCE, and PIANCExperience developing design packages including plan sets, specifications, and cost estimatesSecurity clearance is preferredOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
