We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated New York state Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS). Having PLS licensure in New Jersey and Connecticut, in addition to NY State, is a strong plus. The candidate will be working out of the NJ office in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the day‑to‑day activities of survey field crews and survey CAD technicians Oversee project workflows from field data collection through final deliverables Prepare and manage survey crew schedules and office production schedules Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and professional standards Review and certify survey documents in accordance with NY licensure requirements Prepare survey‑related proposals, including scope development, budgeting, and timelines Monitor project budgets and ensure profitability targets are met Provide technical guidance and mentorship to survey staff Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts Qualifications Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in New York Strong knowledge of surveying principles, procedures, and state regulations Experience managing field crews and office technical staff Proficiency with survey data processing and CAD software Experience preparing proposals and cost estimates Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Benefits Comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, and eye insurance 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance Other benefits (please inquire) Salary will depend on experience and credentials. #J-18808-Ljbffr M&J Engineering
