Job Description As a Security Officer Computerized Entry Control in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will maintain a visible presence, document incidents, and help deter unauthorized access while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying identification, visitor authorization, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures. Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records, issue and recover credentials, and report access irregularities to site leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouse operations, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
