Job Summary
Polysomnographer in a sleep laboratory setting. This role involves conducting various sleep studies, calibrating equipment, monitoring data quality, and providing patient-specific interventions. The position requires handling multiple sleep-related assessments and ensuring accurate data collection to support clinical interpretation.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday. Minimum hours per week: 36.0.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and Basic Life Support (BLS); must hold a valid New Mexico license. Two or more years of experience related to sleep studies are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Collects, analyzes, and integrates patient data to determine testing parameters, prepares and calibrates sleep lab equipment, applies electrodes and sensors, conducts tests such as Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), and oxygen titration, and documents sleep stages and clinical events. Implements therapeutic interventions including PAP and oxygen administration. Scores sleep stages and generates reports for physicians, providing age-specific patient care and education. Performs other duties as assigned, adhering to all policies and standards.
