Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience in school settings, particularly with K-8 students and those with autism, emotional, or learning support needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, flexible approach to therapy, adapting methods as needed
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students in center-based and classroom settings
• Manage a varied caseload that includes K-2 autistic or emotional support, K-4 learning and life skills support, and grades 5-8 with a range of support needs
• Provide temporary coverage as needed for K-4 and intermediate grade students, focusing on speech, learning, and life skills support
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
• Participate in team meetings and communicate progress with stakeholders
• Support each student’s ability to access the curriculum and foster functional communication skills

This assignment offers a structured schedule of 35 hours per week, ensuring consistency for both the therapist and students throughout the school year.
