Senior Research Technician

Job Title Senior Research Technician, EHE | Human Sciences Administration Job Description This short term, Temporary, 10 hours per week Research Technician 3 position, will be hired for 10 weeks to provide support within the Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy on an Outreach and Engagement grant in the early childhood education setting. Senior Research Technician will spend the majority of their time engaged in data management, analysis and dissemination. The position will assist in the management and retention of research data and conduct data management tasks. Conducts data analysis and prepares written and oral dissemination products. The Senior Research Technician will also work closely with the project investigator to manage day‑to‑day project logistics and project support. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities (by %) 45% Engage in Data Management, analysis and dissemination. Assist in the management and retention of research data and conduct data management tasks. 35% Project Coordination and Support. Work closely with the project investigator to manage day‑to‑day project logistics and project support. 10% Conduct data analysis and prepare written and oral dissemination products. 10% Other duties as assigned. Required Experiences Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Formal or informal experience working with children and families. Strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of desktop computing and Microsoft Office suite products; experience working collaboratively with others. Must be able to fulfill state requirements to work with children (successful completion of an FBI/BCI background check). Desired Experiences 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Knowledgeable of research practices, including experience with human subjects’ projects. Experience in the field of early childhood research. Compensation The Target Hiring Range for this position is $19.28/hr - $25.19/hr.
