Investment Reporting Manager

Hybrid in New York, NY

Our client is seeking an experienced Investment Reporting Manager to lead investment reporting, data governance, controls, and portfolio analytics for a large institutional investment portfolio. The leader will partner with Investments, Finance, Risk, Accounting, ALM, Technology, external asset managers, and senior leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant investment reporting.

Rate: $85.00 to $110.00/hr. W2

• Lead the Investment Reporting function and reporting team.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end investment reporting.
• Ensure accurate reporting of holdings, valuations, investment income, performance, yield, asset allocation, and risk metrics.
• Support financial and regulatory reporting, including IFRS-related investment reporting.
• Oversee reconciliations between custodians, portfolio systems, accounting systems, and the general ledger.
• Establish strong investment-data governance, controls, and audit trails.
• Partner with portfolio management, investment accounting, Finance, Risk, and ALM.
• Lead reporting automation, system enhancements, and process improvements.
• Manage reporting across fixed income, private assets, alternatives, real estate, and other institutional asset classes.
• Present investment results, trends, and reporting issues to senior leadership.

• 10–15+ years of investment reporting, investment accounting, portfolio reporting, or related experience.
• Significant leadership experience within an institutional investment environment.
• Strong fixed-income and multi-asset portfolio knowledge.
• Experience with investment accounting, valuation, performance, and reconciliations.
• Insurance, reinsurance, pension, banking, or asset-management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with IFRS and regulated financial reporting preferred.
• Knowledge of investment platforms such as SimCorp, Aladdin, Clearwater, Eagle, Bloomberg, Charles River, or similar.
• Strong data, controls, reporting, and executive communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree required.
