Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individual therapy programs that help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers on therapeutic practices to encourage continued progress in their everyday lives
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatments as necessary, ensuring that patients are on the right path

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for continuing education and advanced certifications is encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
