Location of position: Moline, IL.Job DutiesAs our General Manager, KONE Spares, you will lead KONE Americas' spare parts strategy, operations, and growth initiatives, driving profitable sales and supporting field teams. You’ll oversee budgeting, cost management, and customer support while expanding parts sales across all elevator and escalator OEMs.You will bring 8+ years of progressive sales/customer service related experience, with 3+ of those years leading people. You will use the knowledge gained through your bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year accredited college, or equivalent experience.Other Listed DutiesDevelop, monitor, and improve key performance indicators to achieve operational, financial, and customer service objectives.Analyze market opportunities, support sales growth initiatives, and contribute to marketing and business development strategies.Hiring requirementsStrong leadership, communication, coaching, and employee development skills, including succession planning and team engagement.Knowledge of service operations, material sales, purchasing, distribution, inventory lifecycle, and obsolescence management processes.Understanding of financial management principles, business performance metrics, and the vertical transportation industry.About KONEAt KONE, we foster an innovative and collaborative culture, valuing each individual's contribution.
