Immunology Account Manager - Gateway District

Territory includes: (Gateway: Southern Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico) or within 200 miles of territory boundary. Role Overview As an Immunology Account Manager (IAM), you will play a crucial role in channeling AstraZeneca’s scientific advancements to enhance patients’ lives. You will deliver our innovative science and commercial capabilities to key healthcare decision‑makers, managing a territory aligned with a Saphnelo district. Accountabilities Reporting to the Immunology Account Director, you will engage with IDN director‑level leadership teams—including Medical Chairs, Directors of Pharmacy, IT, Ops, and Procurement—to advance AstraZeneca’s business priorities. Your responsibilities include developing a matrix‑based account strategy plan, mapping key decision‑makers across the IDN ecosystem, understanding formulary pull‑through and system navigation, and delivering best‑in‑class clinical differentiation through an Enriched Value Proposition communication. You will maintain an external view of ongoing IDN system needs and policy changes, lead local implementation of account planning with cross‑functional teams, and lead account team planning at the IDN local child level to achieve clear objectives as a local coalition leader. Essential Skills & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience Minimum 5 years of demonstrated commercial or account management experience, or a combination of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional, or related industry experience A valid driver’s license and safe driving record Travel is required; the IAM candidate must reside in the territory (Gateway: Southern Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico) or within 200 miles of the territory boundary Strategic Business Planning Clinical Competence Customer Engagement Business and Financial Competence Growth and Innovation Approach Desirable Skills & Experience Strategic Business Planning Clinical Competence Customer Engagement Business and Financial Competence Growth and Innovation Approach Salary & Benefits The annual base pay for this position ranges from $160,249.60 –$240,374.40 USD. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, positions offer a short‑term incentive bonus opportunity and eligibility to participate in our equity‑based long‑term incentive program.
